The monster has jumped the fence! He is chasing Leandra and her friends as they ride past his house! Who is this monster with the heart of an alligator? It's Tippy Lemmey, the new neighborhood dog! Why is he so mean? What will he do when he catches one of them? Do his owners know how dangerous he is?

Set during the time of the Korean War, the three friends fight their own little war...with a dog. It will lead them into frightening life-and-death struggle that requires great courage and quick-thinking. In the end, compassion wins and you'll be surprised by what happens to the monster!
