Polish
the sentence!
It
is playing a banjo.
Sentences
with an "ing" verb MUST have a helping verb like "is". Think
about the "ing" on the end of "playing" as a tick! Imagine
that the helping verb is the doctor. (Of course, if you
have a tick, you NEED a doctor!) If you pinch the tick out
of your sentence, you no longer need the doctor and your
sentence is simpler, more direct.
It
play a banjo??? That doesn't sound
right!
Sometimes,
when you remove the tick, it leaves a sore and needs salve!
It
plays a banjo.
Great
job!
