A man was sitting at home one night when there was a loud knock on the door. The man answered the door and was surprised to find that there was a six-foot-tall beetle standing on his doorstep. Before the man had time to speak, the beetle launched a frenzied attack on him and after a flurry of blows, it left.

The man was covered in cuts and bruises and immediately went to see his doctor. Upon seeing him, the doctor asked, "What happened?" 

The man replied, "You won't believe me. I was beaten up by a massive beetle." Seeing that his doctor was not surprised by this, the man  asked, "Well, why aren't you surprised?"

The doctor replied, "Oh. Well, I know there's a nasty bug going around."
