Zelda and Ivy

by Laura Mcgee Kvasnosky

Zelda and Ivy, two fox sisters, get tired of eating cucumber sandwiches, so they decide to run away...and camp out their back yard. "Surely Mom and Dad will miss us," they say, but when they look into the window, that does not seem to be the case. Mom and Dad are dancing! When they go back inside, they get an even bigger surprise. That's just the first chapter! In later chapters, they have fun making a time capsule and writing Haiku poetry.
