we put adjectives in the predicate when they would work better in
the subject.
Look
at this sentence:
The
cub is brown.
"Brown" describes
the cub, so it would work best in the subject like this:
The
brown cub...
Now ask the MAGIC QUESTION: What was the brown cub doing?
(It was playing the banjo.) Add that ACTION to the subject,
and you have a great sentence! The
brown cub played the banjoy loudly.
